I am a large format photographer and I am used to working with files 1-3 terabytes in photoshop - I've not seen lag like this since Photoshop 2.
I click to move text or a shape and when I drag - it lags behind literally 3 seconds. This version of PS (23.0.2.) I tried to create a simple card for christmas, 27 MB. I had OS Monterey and the last version of PS ran zippy on my machine. USE CAUTION IF THIS IS YOUR WORK MACHINE! I just upgraded Photoshop to version 23.0.2 and find it unusable.
